Huge Crowds Wait up to Five Hours to Play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
by NOA_Dave
I predicted that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess would be the game of the show at E3 2005 (And the E3 ShowDaily officially confirmed today what the crowds and I already knew, announcing just that). Enthusiasts waited in line for two hours or more to play the game on Tuesday, and by Friday the wait had grown to a leg-numbing five hours.
Nevertheless, E3 attendees were willing to wait to get their hands on the latest installment in The Legend of Zelda series. The line snaked way past Nintendo's booth, winding through the open area of the convention center and ending up near the food court. Talk about patience!
Luckily for Nintendo Power Magazine subscribers, Nintendo reps were cruising the line in search of loyal Nintendo fans with subscriptions to Nintendo Power Magazine. Those with subscriptions were escorted to the front of the line -- VIP style. It must feel good to skip a five-hour wait just for having a magazine subscription. But hey, Nintendo Power isn't your typical gaming magazine!
If you weren't at the show, or even if you were, check out next month's issue of Nintendo Power -- you'll be able to score a bonus DVD that includes The Legend of Zelda trailer shown at E3!
